The IMPRS-QST Summer School takes place as a double event together with the Munich Conference on Quantum Science and Technology 2025.

We have an exciting program during this week, with talks by guests from academia and industry, alumni presentations, posters sessions, soft skills courses and lots of time to connect both through scientific discussions as well as social activities!

Tutorial Talks 2025

This year, we will feature four tutorial talks, structured as complementary pairs on two key topics: Quantum Key Distribution and Cluster States & Measurement-Based Quantum Computing.

Each topic will be covered by two speakers, providing both an introduction and an exploration of practical applications:

  • Quantum Key Distribution: Ramona Wolf (University of Siegen) & Luis Trigo Vidarte (ICFO)
  • Cluster States & Measurement-Based Quantum Computing: Sophia Economou (Virginia Tech) & Robert Rausendorf (Leibniz University)

The Munich Conference on Quantum Science and Technology 2025 (MCQST 2025) brings together the Munich quantum community with international invited guests in academia and industry for three days of talks and poster sessions. Join us in the charming town of Kufstein on 3-6 June 2025 to exchange ideas, learn about innovative research, and discuss the latest advancements in all fields of quantum science and technology.
